“Happiness is strange; it comes when you are not seeking it. When you are not making an effort to be happy, then unexpectedly, mysteriously, happiness is there, born of purity, of a loveliness of being.”—Jiddu Krishnamurti (via ahealthyearth)
“Intimacy is not entirely physical. In fact, it can have no physical interaction at all. For an intimate relationship to take place, allow someone into your thoughts. Let them hold and caress your feelings. Let them be intimate with your mind. Allow for the emotional intimacy to be the reason for passion to be bred. Now that is intimacy that is long lasting.”—Upendo Kupita Juu (via katgotkurious)
“If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I bet they’d live a lot differently. When you look into infinity, you realize there are more important things than what people do all day.”—Calvin and Hobbes (via ch-micals)
I am a very kind-hearted person. I will always give. I will always look for the good in people that do not evidently show that they can be. But do not mistake me for weak, blind, or stupid. Unfortunately, two people were recently brought into my life that I truly pity. After much struggle, I’ve failed to find anything other than anger, selfishness, desperation, and weakness. I will wake up tomorrow and still be able to find light. As for the two of you, you have nothing but the promise of a lifetime of misery, and deservingly, each other.
“If you find yourself thinking “Wait. Can’t say that. He’ll think I’m weird and fucked up.” Ditch them and find someone who responds with something twice as weird and three times as fucked up.”—Jeremiah Van Guilder (via coyotegold)
“Our hummingbird hearts
found new forests to sing to,
and the years pulled us away
like dandelions finding
somewhere else to grow.
I know we’re not
supposed to tell each other
these things anymore,
but for what it’s worth,
I still listen for your voice.
For what it’s worth,
it still turns me into spring.”—Y.Z., the truth after all this time (via narylfielsage)
